And finally, the biggest stories of the day. Both of them belong to the Reds – just like the top spot of the Premier League. According to Diario Gol, Real Madrid are open to the idea of selling Marco Asensio for €120 million.

The Spaniard has been poor so far this season and it seems as though Real Madrid would be willing to cash in on him. Liverpool have apparently shown interest and have contacted the Merengues over a possible move.

Meanwhile, according to bookies, Liverpool are the most favourites to land Christian Pulisic at the Anfield. They are placed at 2/1 to sign the American, with Arsenal taking the second place at 3/1 and Chelsea finishing off in third with 4/1.
