#1 Manchester madness ft. Chelsea and Spurs
Jose Mourinho seems to have lost the faith of players who don’t even play for him. Indeed, such has been the way United play that Borussia Dortmund star Manuel Akanji is no longer a fan of the club he supported as a child.
Akanji basically closed doors to a transfer to Manchester United by stating that he is not a fan of how Mourinho’s team play right now.
“It’s true that I was a Manchester United fan from an early age,” he said.
“But at the moment I don’t look at their games closely because I don’t like the way they play under Mourinho.”
When asked why United are stuttering, he said: “I’m not there and don’t know what they’re training.”
Meanwhile, Don Balon have claimed that both Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio could be used as swapping tools to bring in Harry Kane and Eden Hazard, respectively. Asensio has been offered to Chelsea while Bale is open to the idea of going to Spurs.
Both Hazard and Kane are valued at €150 million.
