Manchester transfer news
Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker has signed a new contract with the Citizens that will keep him at the Etihad until 2024. The Englishman joined the club in 2017 from Tottenham and has been a part of the team that has won two Premier League titles.
Meanwhile, according to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Manchester United don’t want Mauro Icardi in a swap deal that would see Romelu Lukaku join Inter as they are interested in bringing Milan Skriniar instead.
The Nerazzurri proposed a move for the Belgian in exchange for their Argentine striker. However, the Red Devils have rejected the possibility. The report further claims that both United and City put up €65 million for the defender last summer but Inter refused to budge.
And even now, they hold firm in their decision as they have no desire to sell one of their best talents.
