Liverpool and Arsenal
Liverpool may have won the Champions League but they need to make a few tweaks in their squad in order to compete with Manchester City in the league. They have not been linked with a lot of players but the one player that they have been touted to sign was one of the best last season.
According to reports, Liverpool have made an astonishing €80 million for Nicolas Pepe. They have offered him a contract until 2024 with a salary of €3 million plus bonuses a year.
Meanwhile, Arsenal desperately need to strengthen their squad after a rather poor first season post-Arsene Wenger. And according to reports in Italy, the Gunners are closing in on a double signing.
The Londoners are reportedly splashing £42 million on Sampdoria duo Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen.
What do you think of the Gunners signing them? Would they be good purchases?
