Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer roundup for the day! We have some hot rumours today – as the headline suggests – and we will dive into it right away!
#5 Wilshere contract update
Arsenal are apparently confident that Jack Wilshere will sign a new contract with the club.
“The latest conversation I had with Jack, it looks positive for the club,” Sky Sports quote Wenger as saying on Tuesday.
“I am not involved anymore in negotiations but of course I’m still in touch with Jack.
“If he wants my advice, I will give it to him. I am convinced, like I was always, that his future is here. It was always my wish and I think it will happen, yes.”
#4 Riyad Mahrez and Arsenal
This has to be one of Don Balon’s greatest rumours. Apparently, Riyad Mahrez doesn’t want to think or know about Zinedine Zidane’s interest in him, neither does he want to go and be a part of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Then where does he want to go? To the team that is set to miss the Champions League next season, of course! Apparently, he has fixed his sight and heart towards Arsenal and wants to play for the Gunners next season.
#3 Liverpool want 3 Madrid players
Before this, they had reported that Klopp wanted two Madrid players in return for Salah. Now, however, Don Balon state that Liverpool want three players in exchange for Salah: Keylor Navas, Gareth Bale and Mateo Kovacic.
Meanwhile, Watford Observer believe that the Hornets are interested in Callum McGregor and could make a move for him in the summer. The midfielder is rated at £10 million.
#2 Manchester madness ft. Chelsea
According to a report from Tuttosport, we could see a lot of changes at Paris Saint-Germain next season. While Neymar is constantly being linked to other clubs, Edinson Cavani, who has scored 39 goals so far this season, also has interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Liverpool might lose Emre Can on a free transfer to Juventus but they could sign a player from Turin in return. According to The Sun, Liverpool might move in for Sami Khedira, who apparently has a desire to win the Premier League.
#1 Jurgen Klopp’s Barcelona obsession
Ever since Ousmane Dembele joined Borussia Dortmund, Jurgen Klopp is apparently obsessed with him, say SFR Sport. When Dembele joined Dortmund, Klopp had already left and couldn’t manage him.
However, he wishes to manage him now by bringing him to Liverpool, just a year after Barcelona bought him for €145 million (add-ons included). The German tactician wants to bring in the Frenchman on a loan deal with an option to buy him permanently after the end of next season.
