Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer roundup for the day. We have some great rumours up ahead and so without further ado, let’s begin!
#5 Gabriel Jesus' contract situation
Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has maintained that he is in no rush to commit himself to the club just yet.
"The new contract offer was something that came from the club, but I didn't think it was the right time to speak about it because we had big games still to play," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"I decided I couldn't think about it at that time because it wasn't where my mind was at.
"Now, at the end of the season, I have still got a long time ahead of me, so I still don't want to think about it.
#4 Tottenham transfers
Spurs aren’t a club known for splashing the cash like their competitors are. This summer, however, that could change if a report from the Mirror is to be believed.
The report claims that the North London outfit are willing to spend £100 million on two Lazio players: Sergey Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile.
Both of them have apparently been scouted by the “top spies” of the Lilywhites and they could fund the signing(s) by selling some players.
#3 Manchester City madness
The curious case of Isco just keeps rolling. At times, he is the heart of the system for the Blancos and at other times, he doesn’t suit the dynamics of Madrid and is linked out of the club.
So according to Don Balon, who don’t disappoint in making a sensationally outrageous claim, Isco is on the radar of Pep Guardiola and will make a move for him in the summer and is willing to let Madrid have Bernardo Silva.
John Stones was also linked but Guardiola refuted claims of the defender leaving, saying: “I don’t know how people believe we’re going to sell John Stones."
#2 Liverpool and Chelsea
Liverpool have done exceedingly well in the Champions League this season despite having a midfield bereft of any big names.
It might change next season, however, as the Reds have intensified talks with Dani Ceballos’s agent and have found a principle agreement of a four-year contract, say CalcioMercato.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are back in the race to sign former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique as the next manager of the club, if a report from The Times is to be believed, as Arsenal aren’t willing to meet his wage demands.
#1 Rumour of the day
There can’t be a rumour of the day without Manchester United in it. Once again, Don Balon strike with their golden and yellow ink.
Apparently, James Rodriguez isn’t convinced by Bayern’s next manager Niko Kovac because he thinks that his weight on the squad will reduce.
He is also concerned that he may have to put more emphasis on learning German faster, which is why he could leave.
And as luck would have it, he received a call from an old friend this week in the form of Jose Mourinho to inform the Colombian that he will bid for him in the summer.
