Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer roundup of the day! Some very big stories have come up in the mix today – and here are some best of the lot!
#5 David Moyes revelation
West Ham United manager David Moyes has revealed that he could have joined some other club in the Premier League but chose to stick with the Hammers.
"I could have joined a Premier League club during the season here when I was West Ham manager. I chose not to,” he was quoted by football.london.
"But I've got other things if it's not renewed. It's not a problem."
#4 Next Arsenal manager candidates
With the resignation of Arsene Wenger at the end of the season, Arsenal have shortlisted candidates to take over from the Frenchman in the summer with the likes of Max Allegri, Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira in serious contention to be the next Gunner manager, say Telegraph.
Meanwhile, Everton are leading the chase for William Carvalho, say A Bola. The report also adds that Sporting want somewhere around £26 million for the midfielder that was heavily linked with West Ham earlier.
#3 Liverpool and Bournemouth
After spending a world record £75 million on Virgil Van Dijk, Liverpool are seemingly going to strengthen their defence in the summer as well as they have been linked with a move for Porto’s Diogo Leite, who has a €15 million release clause in his contract, say The Guardian.
Meanwhile, the report also adds another information, where Leite’s defence partner Diogo Quieros reportedly has interest from Bournemouth and could be a subject of a £10 million transfer bid in the summer.
#2 Salah’s replacement
Mohamed Salah is going to be a serious subject of transfer offers in the summer from Real Madrid if reports are to be believed. According to Don Balon, Real Madrid wants the player, which is why Liverpool have lined up a replacement.
Salah’s next destination to Real Madrid is a “fact”. As a result, Nabil Fekir is the player the Reds have targeted to fill up the void of the Egyptian. Fekir apparently favours a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona but may have to join Liverpool first.
#1 Manchester madness ft. Wayne Rooney
So here we go. According to Don Balon, who have mainly reported about Kovacic’s potential departure to Inter Milan, have stated that Toni Kroos has a serious offer from Manchester United. The German has a release clause of €300 million, so make of it what you will.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United forward may be roped in by Premier League-elect Wolves. Wolves are looking to strengthen their squad and prepare themselves for the highest league in England, say Birmingham Mail.
