Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has opened up about the possibility of his client leaving the Bernabeu. Barnett stated that while Bale ideally wants to spend the rest of his career at the Bernabeu, things could change if things don’t work out.

He also added that he shall speak to Zinedine Zidane about Bale and also revealed that the pair didn’t really share the same ideology when it comes to footballing style.

“He wants to play all his career for Real Madrid and if it does not work out, we will talk again,” agent Jonathan Barnett said.

“He will talk with Mr Zidane, take it from there and then see at the end of the season.

“Gareth wanted to play one way and Zidane wanted to play another. That was the cause of it and over a period of time it got worse.”
