Giroud frustrated
Olivier Giroud has revealed that he is frustrated by the lack of chances at Chelsea, claiming that he knows that he will play only in the Europa League whilst still promising that he would give it his best whenever he sets foot on the pitch.
“Of course it is frustrating,” Giroud said. “Today, I have the impression that there is clearly no competition since January.
"I know that I will only play in the Europa League. I try to do what it takes to be the most effective and the most important for the team.”
He then added that he doesn’t fear playing for a club of smaller stature if it gives him more playing time and concluded by stating that he could finish his career in France.
“My future may be hectic this summer. I am not afraid to go down a level to have more playing time. It could be that I end my career in France.”
