Newcastle could break their transfer record
Newcastle United could break their transfer record once again this summer, just 6 months after signing Miguel Almiron for a club record fee. According to Sky journalist Keith Downie, signing Salomon Randon permanently in the main priority for the Magpies.
He also added that Rafa Benitez’s side want to add some midfielders, a full-back on both sides and a forward before stating that he won’t be surprised if the Magpies break their transfer window record – but it depends on how much they earn through departures.
“In addition to Rondon, Newcastle are in the market for a couple of midfielders, a full-back on either side and another forward to pair with record signing Miguel Almiron.
“Do not be surprised to see Newcastle smash that £21m transfer record again this summer, but the number of arrivals will depend on outgoings.”
