#2 Mourinho in Real’s radar and Kovacic update

Jose Mourinho might look out of his depth at Manchester United but that hasn’t dropped his demand even a little – at least not to Real Madrid. According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, Real Madrid will only keep Santi Solari as the manager of the club if he manages to win the Champions League.

Inda then stated that Mourinho is the first choice of the Spaniard with Xabi Alonso as the assistant to the Portuguese.

“Florentino does not want Solari unless he wins the Champions League," Inda said.

"The plan next season is to try to bring Mourinho with Xabi Alonso as the assistant manager."

Meanwhile, Mateo Kovacic may never return to Madrid as the Galacticos have been upset with the behavior that he displayed in the summer. Kovacic forced a move to Chelsea on loan but could now stay there permanently.

AS further add that Tottenham are also in the race to sign him.
