I cannot really believe what I am about to type but according to the agent of Gianluigi Buffon himself, the Italy legend is a huge fan of West Ham United because of their supporters.

While his agent may have denied naming the clubs interested in him after he announced his goodbye from Juventus, he did confirm that there was interest from England.

"I don't know if it will be a total farewell to football. He wants two weeks to talk to his family and come to a decision," he told The Sun.

"In England, he always really admired West Ham supporters, and even wrote about it in his book. I can't name names specifically out of respect for Gigi [Buffon]. He asked me not to mention specific clubs, but he does love England."
