Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes that Juan Mata should be kept at the Old Trafford. While the Spaniard is not a starter at the club, Hargreaves believes that he should be retained.

“I’m sure he’d love to play more games,” Hargreaves said
“But I just think the place he is at now at Manchester United and in terms of his contract, I think you want him to stay.”
Hargreaves thinks that he is a perfect player to have on the bench. Mata is also one of the most endeared personalities in the world and that quality in him, coupled with his application, makes him an important player to have.
“He’s a perfect squad player, probably one of the nicest guys in football and I think he’s still productive.
“He’s such a smart player, he really is. I hope he stays at Man United a little while longer.”
