Forward - Andriy Yarmolenko (Borussia Dortmund to West Ham, undisclosed)

Another Borussia Dortmund reject, Yarmolenko joined West Ham for an undisclosed fee. West Ham who has made several signings to strengthen their squad looks like a real threat to the top teams of the Premier League this season. Yarmolenko is known for his skill on the ball and goal-scoring ability. A winger who can also operate as a striker, Yarmolenko has drawn a comparison to Ukrainian legend Andriy Shevchenko.

Starting off his career in the lower levels of Ukraine, he soon switched to one of Ukraine's top club, Dynamo Kyiv. In his 11 seasons with Dynamo Kyiv, Yarmolenko played 341 games, scoring a total of 137 goals. After his move to Dortmund, he found it hard to break into the first team. Playing only 26 games and scoring 6 goals, he ended a disappointing season in Germany by moving to England.

Yarmolenko is the second highest scorer in Ukrainian history, only behind Shevchenko. He has scored 35 goals in 77 games for his national team. He represented his country in the 2012 and 2016 Euro Cups, the former of which was contested partly in Ukraine. He hasn't played the World Cup as Ukraine has failed to qualify since 2006. Yarmolenko is a very prolific player West Ham should be glad in having among their ranks. In addition to the amazing depth they already have, West Ham should be a force to be reckoned with this season.
