Premier League weekend preview | EPL Schedule

After a break of almost two weeks due to international friendlies and the Euro 2020 qualification campaign, Premier League action is set to resume on Saturday with table-toppers Liverpool hosting Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday.

The Magpies face a Liverpool team which is unbeaten in 42 Premier League games at home. If Steve Bruce's men have to take something out of this game, they will have to come up with something extraordinary, with a share of luck favouring them too.

Moving onto Liverpool's north-west city rivals Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces a tough task to help his team to return back to winning ways as they host Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday. After a promising 4-0 win against Chelsea at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have lost their way, drawing two games and losing one in their next three fixtures.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, after a flying 2018/19 campaign, are yet to register a league win this campaign, managing just three draws and a defeat in their opening four fixtures. Due to the rigours of the Europa League play-offs, thus far, Nuno Espirito Santo's men have found it difficult to strike a balance between two competition.

Boasting an impressive record against league's top sides, Wolves host a Chelsea side, struggling to find consistency in their game under new manager Frank Lampard. This clash promises to be an exciting one as both sides seek consistency after a turbulent start to their respective campaigns.

Tottenham Hotspur, considered as the only side capable to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the league title this season, have endured a disappointing start themselves, currently, struggling at the ninth spot in the league.

With Crystal Palace visiting them on Saturday, Mauricio Pochetino's men should be alert at all times to attain all three points from this 3:00 p.m.(UK time) clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Capping off the fixtures on Sunday, defending champions Manchester City make a trip to Carrow Road for a match against newly-promoted Norwich City.

Reappointed Watford boss Quique Sánchez Flores will try to build on the Hornets' successful 2018/19 campaign under Javi Gracia, starting from ascending up the league table. Arsenal, who had an abysmal away record last season, visit Vicarage Road on Sunday.
