Royal Wahingdoh FC Goalkeeper Laishram Premkumar Singh has been called in as a replacement for Arindam Bhattacharya in the 38-member Probable list for India's back to back 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 AFC Asian Cup Joint Qualification matches next month against Oman and Guam respectively.
Premkumar has been summoned by National Coach Stephen Constantine for his "inspiring performances" in the I-League for the newcomers after Bharat FC goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya suffered an injury in the ongoing I-League.
India will play their first match at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore on June 11 while the next match against Guam will be played on June 16. India have been clubbed in Group D along with Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan and Guam.
The list of 38 probables would be trimmed down to 26 after May 31 before the Preparatory Camp in Bangalore kicks-off.
