Chris Smalling rarely gets the credit he deserves but today, one cannot shy away. Smalling was phenomenal at the back for United and put in a scintillating defensive display.

One tackle, three interceptions, seven clearances, and two crucial blocks summarize Smalling's night. He kept Mbappe quiet and was rock solid at the back. A night to remember for the 29-year-old.

#1 Romelu Lukaku

The Belgian international was at the right place at the right time and more importantly, he converted his chances with aplomb. Lukaku scored two goals and both of them show how good a centre-forward he is.

His anticipation, work rate, and finishing were brilliant on the night. He was easily United's best player at the Parc des Princes. A Man of the Match performance from the 25-year-old.
