Monaco player ratings against PSG

Alexander Nubel - 5/10

Sport-Club Freiburg vs FC Bayern Muenchen - Bundesliga

It was a really subpar performance from the Monaco goalkeeper against PSG. Nubel didn't make a single save throughout the game. Whatever attempts PSG made were either goals or off-target shots.

Djibril Sidibe - 5/10

Much like Nubel, Sidibe didn't have the greatest of games either. Although he was decent during the game, the full-back was essentially responsible for giving away the penalty that led to PSG's opener.

Guillermo Maripan - 7/10

Maripan showcased a resolute performance at the heart of Monaco's defence. The centre-back was invariably alert to danger most of the game. In fact, he could have helped Monaco record a clean sheet if not for the mistakes of some of his teammates.

Axel Disasi - 7/10

Disasi enjoyed a solid outing against PSG. He was composed on the ball, and did his job off it. He also did well to keep the ball moving for Monaco. The centre-back managed two clearances and eight successful ball recoveries on the night.

Caio Henrique - 5/10

Henrique had a very quiet game against PSG. He was not much involved in the game. The full-back contributed nothing to his side, and was taken off at half-time.

Aurelien Tchouameni - 8/10

Tchouameni was, without a doubt, the best midfielder on the pitch. He made a couple of good driving runs with the ball, but failed to convert the resulting chances. Nevertheless, he was a telling presence against PSG without the ball, managing seven interceptions and four recoveries.

Youssouf Fofana - 5/10

Fofana had an awful day at the office. It was his error that led to PSG's second goal. His passing was off throughout his time on the pitch. No wonder, the midfielder was taken off in the 55th minute.

Aleksandr Golovin - 7/10

Golovin was a lynchpin to nearly everything Monaco created. The midfielder showcased excellent positional and passing awareness, racking up four key passes.

Sofiane Diop - 6.5/10

Diop was a constant threat to PSG's defence. The winger managed three shots throughout the game.

He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet right at the start, as his shot came off the PSG woodwork.

Gelson Martins - 6/10

Martins put up a diligent performance against PSG. He worked hard to win the ball back on a couple of occasions. However, he failed to produce a similar impact in the attacking phase of the game.

Wissam Ben Yedder - 5/10

It was an uncharacteristically quiet performance from Ben Yedder. He created a big chance, but apart from that, he had a difficult time getting himself into good positions. The striker was hooked off in the 55th minute.

Ratings of Monaco substitutes against PSG

Ismail Jakobs - 6/10

Jakobs came on to replace Henrique after the break, but he didn't do much better than his counterpart.

Myron Boadu - 5/10

Boadu came on as a 55th-minute replacement for Ben Yedder. He didn't do much either, failing to get even a single shot off his feet throughout his time on the pitch.

Jean Lucas - 6/10

Lucas came on to replace Fofana in the 55th minute. The midfielder struggled to deal with PSG's intensity for much of the game. His passing radar was also off, as he completed just 64% of his passes.

Eliot Matazo - 6/10

Coming on as a 65th-minute substitute to provide midfield solidity, Matazo did just enough to instil a bit of control in Monaco's play.

Wilson Isidor - N/A

Wilson came on as an 85th-minute substitute, but he didn't play long enough on the night to be rated.
