#3 PSG turn it around in style
Knowing they had to produce a much better performance in the second half, PSG upped their game. They controlled possession, and showed more attacking urgency than they did in the first half.
Idrissa Gueye and Neymar did most of the dirty work in and around midfield. They won the ball back before laying it off for someone like Di Maria, to get it further forward.
Their pressure finally paid off in the 74th minute when the Argentine's lay-off found Marquinhos, far up his line. The Brazilian executed a brilliant low-drive into the bottom corner to restore parity for PSG.
With just over a minute of normal time left on the clock, Di Maria was once again picked out in midfield. He combined excellently with Neymar before rifling home the winner into the far post.
#2 PSG must get their act together
PSG managed to snatch a smash-and-grab winner late on, but their performance wasn't dominant enough on the night. For the third time in their last four games, the former Ligue 1 champions needed a second-half comeback to emerge victorious.
It's a testament to their character and fighting spirit. But Mauricio Pochettino will be concerned by his side's tendency to become complacent at times and wake up in games late.
Given the immense quality in their squad, PSG must be taking every game by the scruff of the neck. But that level of dominance has been lacking from their game of late, and it could come back to haunt them at some point as the season progresses.
#1 More injury concern for Lionel Messi
Messi had another poor game in the first half. That's because the star was playing with a muscle injury that had kept him out of Wednesday's training and nearly sidelined him for this clash too.
With PSG trailing 1-0 at half-time and in desperate need of improvement, Messi was taken off before the second period, much to everyone's surprise. But while his injury is now clear, it was perhaps a precautionary measure by the manager.
It kept him from opening his Ligue 1 account. Messi now also runs the risk of missing PSG's trip to Leipzig on Wednesday in the Champions League. Further assessment of his injury is expected in the coming days.
