Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) thrashed Bordeaux 3-0 at the Parc des Princes in Gameweek 28 on Sunday to march on towards the Ligue 1 trophy.
Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring for the hosts in the 24th minute of the game. The Frenchman slotted one in following an incisive pass from Georginio Wijnaldum. Neymar doubled their advantage in the 52nd minute as he tapped one in from close range following some selfless work from Achraf Hakimi.
The Parisians sealed the three points following Leandro Paredes' strike minutes after their second goal. The Argentinian scored a clinical finish to clinch the victory. Lionel Messi also came close to scoring a goal but his attempted shot from the edge of the box deflected off the post.

#5 PSG get back to winning ways
After two successive losses against OGC Nice and Real Madrid, PSG hit the ground running with a win against Bordeaux. Before their win on Sunday, they had lost three out of their four games in all competitions.
The Parisians responded with a grand win as they smashed the visitors with three goals.
They were under a lot of pressure following their UEFA Champions League exit in the round of 16 on Wednesday last week. With manager Mauricio Pochettino's job on the line, it was necessary for them to win their next game to regain their confidence.
The club only have Ligue 1 to play for now as they were eliminated in the Coupe de France in February.
#4 Neymar and Messi receive jeers from the home crowd
Neymar and Messi were booed by a section of the fans at the Parc des Princes for the whole 90 minutes. The duo were subject to massive scrutiny following their midweek loss to Real Madrid. A certain section of PSG fans did not shy away from making their displeasure known.
Reports also surfaced that the club now doubt Neymar's commitment to the job. But despite all the noise surrounding the Brazilian, he shut down his critics with a goal. Neymar scored the second goal of the game after some great work by Hakimi to set him up.
#3 Neymar dazzled on the left
Although there is a lot of negativity surrounding Neymar after his no-show against Real Madrid, he shunted it and gave his all against Bordeaux. It does not undo the past but goes on to show his capabilities as a player.
The Brazilian scored a goal, created one chance and won 13 duels. He also was fouled five times, won two tackles, completed three dribbles and made seven recoveries throughout the game. He was the liveliest of all the forwards on the pitch and looked threatening every time he had the ball at his feet.
#2 Kylian Mbappe continues his red hot form
Kylian Mbappe had a great game for PSG yet again. The Frenchman opened the scoring for the hosts as he drove one low past Gaetan Poussin after receiving a pass from Wijnaldum.
Mbappe won three duels, completed two dribbles and made one interception throughout the game. With this goal, he took his tally to 15 goals in 25 games for PSG in Ligue 1 this season.
His impressive performances have kept him in the limelight. Certain reports also suggest that he will be sign a new contract with Real Madrid soon.
#1 Leandro Paredes shines in the center
Leandro Paredes had a great game as the Argentina international scored a great goal for PSG's third of the game. He smashed one into the top corner to seal the win for the Parisians. Paredes showed great composure to beat two defenders before taking the hit.
Paredes held PSG's ground in the center of the park as well. He won four duels, made seven recoveries, intercepted the ball thrice and made two blocks. He also completed three dribbles, created two chances, and completed 102 passes with 99 percent accuracy. It was a great all-round performance from the midfielder.
