French giants Paris Saint-Germain has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with Hublot, which will see the watchmakers become the official timekeeper and watch partner of the club.
“We are very happy to welcome another prestigious international brand to our sides. The ambition of Paris Saint-Germain is to become a sporting entity recognised all over the world, which sits perfectly with Hublot’s demand for perfection and aspirations towards elegance, present in all their watches,” said Jean-Claude Blanc, general manager of PSG.
As a part of the deal Hublot, will use PSG’s Parc des Princes stadium for advertisement and will also install a number of Hublot clocks at the venue. Hublot is an active sponsor in the football community with them being the official timekeeper of world governing body FIFA and various big clubs like Bayern Munchen, Juventus and Ajax.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot said that he was pleased with the deal.
“Paris is the European capital for good taste, elegance and luxury. Paris is the world tourism capital. And thanks to Paris Saint-Germain, Paris is the capital of European football. Hublot could not afford to not be associated with this club,” he said.
