Samir Nasri is closing in on finishing his Manchester City’s dreadful stay— with Paris St-Germain lining up a bid to sign him.

The French international is currently out of favour with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini as the stats suggest that he has started only half of City’s Premier League games this season.

Mancini has publicly criticised performances of the French star on quite a few occasions this season, an ex-Arsenal player bought for £24million in 2011, who played a crucial role in City’s title win last season.

But City, this season, has all but lost the title to their rivals Manchester United this year and must overcome a very tough FA Cup semi-final to avoid a bleak campaign.

Meanwhile, Nasri, now fears for his international future with just over a year to go for next year’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

French table toppers PSG have now opened discussions with the Marseilles-born player’s agents and representative.

The club’s owner, Qatar Sports Investments, is understood to have contacted the 25-year-old’s father Abdelhamid.

PSG sporting director Leonardo is recognized as a fan of Nasri and did tried to sign him from Arsenal two years ago.
