Right-winger- Rafinha
Not many can immediately recall that Rafinha is still a PSG player. Rafinha moved to Paris from Barcelona for £1.3 million in 2020, as PSG sought to add more depth to their squad.
The Brazil international is capable of playing in midfield and further forward, but has not been a consistent presence in PSG's starting XIs since joining the club.
The 28-year old, who was rated highly during his Barcelona days, was recently linked with a move away. Aston Villa were rumored to be interested, while Fenerbahce were touted as a potential destination.
Striker- Alexandre Fressange
Alexandre Fressange is a youth team player at PSG who could get a chance against Clermont Foot. With the likes of Lionel Messi, Mauro Icardi, Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe all unlikely to feature, Fressange looks set to start.
The 20-year old centre-forward has sufficiently impressed Mauricio Pochettino to be given a first-team chance.
PSG have one of the best academies in the world. However, very few academy graduates have made it to the first-team. Adrien Rabiot and Presnel Kimpembe come to mind. Yacine Adli, Odsonne Edouard and Moussa Dembele have all been sold or let go in recent years.
Left-winger- Julian Draxler
Julian Draxler is another squad player at PSG who arguably could have done better at another club. Draxler was regarded as a prodigious talent during his Schalke days. After a short spell with Wolfsburg, the 27-year old joined PSG on January 2017 for £32.4 million. Draxler has featured regularly for the club, but has not always been a starter.
The Germany international is a versatile player who can play as a 10 or on the wings. Technically solid, Draxler signed a new contract earlier this year which will extend his stay at the club until 2024.
