Right Winger - Kylian Mbappe
One of the best players in world football, PSG's Kylian Mbappe was at his very best against Strasbourg.
The Mbappe saga continues to rumble on, though. It has been reported that the France international is keen to leave the Ligue 1 giants this summer, with Real Madrid heavily interested in signing him. With Mbappe's contract expiring next summer, it will be interesting to see what PSG do to keep the player at the club.
The 22-year-old has persistently been linked with Real Madrid for some time now. The La Liga giants are said to be intent on signing the young superstar, and Mbappe is keen to make the deal happen as well.
Striker - Mauro Icardi
With all the PSG talk surrounding Angel Di Maria, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe forming a fearsome attack, Mauro Icardi has been pushed to the shadows.
Icardi was regarded as one of the best strikers in the game during his time with Inter Milan, but he had his issues with the club's fans. A move to PSG was seen as the right step for the Argentina international, but Icardi has failed to replicate his Inter Milan form for the Ligue 1 giants.
A prolific goalscorer, Icardi, who played in Gameweek 1, has struggled to get going in Paris. The arrival of Lionel Messi further pushes him down the pecking order, and the 28-year-old is another player who could leave the club this summer.
Left Winger - Julian Draxler
Julian Draxler was regarded as one of the best young talents in Europe during his Schalke days, but now he is a squad player at PSG.
Draxler has been at PSG for some time now. The Germany international joined the club from Wolfsburg in January 2017 for £32.5 million, but he has not been a constant presence in the first XI for the club since then.
The 27-year-old has been a useful player to have, but has failed to impress with his performances. Capable of playing in midfield and in attack, Draxler is a good option to have on the bench, though. But he is likely to start this game on Friday.
Substitute - Lionel Messi
Arguably the best player in the world has joined PSG on a free transfer this summer, but the fans will likely have to wait a little longer to see him start for his new club.
Lionel Messi will be a definite starter for PSG once he is fully fit. But for now it remains to be seen whether manager Mauricio Pochettino names him on the bench or excludes him for the squad altogether for the game against Brest.
Substitute - Neymar
Another world-class player, Neymar played a key role in ensuring his good friend Lionel Messi signed for PSG.
Neymar and Lionel Messi enjoy an excellent relationship, with the two having played together for Barcelona. Neymar, like Messi, is unlikely to start against Brest, though, and is another player who could be named on the bench by Pochettino as he waits for his two superstars to get fully fit and ready.
