Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly looking to sell Neymar in the summer, with Manchester United, Juventus and Newcastle United interested.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes.net, PSG no longer have faith in the Brazilian attacker and want to ship him out in the summer. It's believed that the 31-year-old must find a new club to extend his career. Amid reports of a summer departure, three clubs have emerged as Neymar’s potential suitors.
Premier League giants Manchester United are the first. The Red Devils have been keeping tabs on the Brazil ace for a while and are prepared to pay a sizable fee to sign him. The former Barcelona winger could be tempted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League and proving his mettle in a different country.
Serie A giants Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the attacking star. The Turin-based club are in the market for a marquee player who could bring back their glory days. They see the PSG No. 10 as a great candidate.
Premier League up-and-comers Newcastle United are the third team interested in signing the former Santos ace. The Magpies have done well under Eddie Howe this season, climbing to third place in the Premier League. If they secure UEFA Champions League football next season, they could attract some of the biggest names in the sport.
Newcastle are not as big of a name as Manchester United, but Neymar could be enticed by the prospect of becoming the centerpiece of the Saudi-backed club's new project.
According to Transfermarkt, Neymar’s market value stands at €70 million and his contract with Les Parisiens expires in 2025. Since joining the Ligue 1 outfit for €222 million fee in 2017, Neymar has represented them in 173 games, scoring 118 times and claiming 77 assists.
Manchester United interested in PSG defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu
According to French outlet Le10Sport, PSG defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu is on Manchester United’s shortlist for the summer. The 17-year-old midfielder has impressed with his calmness and versatility this season but could struggle for minutes after Milan Skriniar arrives as a free agent this summer.
Manchester United, meanwhile, could use reinforcements at the back. With Raphael Varane enduring more than his fair share of injuries and Harry Maguire’s future in the air, Bitshiabu could prove to be an important addition to the roster.
Bitshiabu, who can operate as a left-back and centre-back, has played 13 games for Christophe Galtier’s side this season. According to Transfermarkt, he's valued at €7 million.
