Suspended Adrien Rabiot open to Liverpool move
The Adrien Rabiot saga seems to never end as his relations with the Paris club has worsened over time with the most recent case being a 6-day suspension.
He has reportedly been suspended for liking a social media video posted by Patrice Evra according to RMC Sport. In the video, Evra was taped saying: “Here it is Manchester. Stop supporting teams who will never win. Paris, you are some f*****s! Some f*****s
Rabiot liked the video intentionally or non-intentionally and as a result, finds himself suspended for six days by the Ligue 1 club after they sent a letter to him explaining the basis of their decision.
The letter read as follows:
"You are obliged to fulfil your duty of loyalty. Damaging the cohesion and serenity of the team is not acceptable."
Rabiot's fragile relationship with the club has led to many clubs showing their interest in the French midfielder. Barcelona who were the first ones have now withdrawn their interest after signing Dutch midfielder, Frenkie de Jong. Also, rumours suggesting Rabiot's possible move to Real Madrid have been dissolved after Marca reported that the Los Blancos have no intention in signing Adrien Rabiot.
This report has proved to be propitious for Liverpool, who wanted midfield reinforcements this summer and getting Adrien Rabiot for free in June will be the best thing The Reds would have wanted as reported by the Mirror. Thus a cool down in Madrid's interest to sign Rabiot has opened the doors for a possible Liverpool move for the French midfielder.
