PSV Eindhoven over the next fortnight or so are set to offer trial to 16 year old Matheus Pereira da Silva of Corinthians.
The Brazilian is seen as a sensation in his homeland and The Boeren know him from the Canon Lion City Cup in Singapore where he last season made an indelible impression. Da Silva plays in the number 10 role just behind the striker.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with Matheus but he prefers a move to Eindhoven as he can not only get an immediate work permit but sees the club as a good breeding ground for himself.
PSV are looking at family ties to get him a European passport but should that fail the club must wait till the player turns 18.
