February 2012, Manchester United come from three goals down at the Stamford Bridge to draw Chelsea and in the process securing a vital point in their hunt for the 20th title.

The mood was somber at half-time at the AIRTEL SOCCER NIGHTS (Delhi) as manutd were trailing by a goal.

Everything changed after fulltime after a late cavalry charge saw three goals go past Peter Cech.

Glory Glory Man United…was played in the background as the fans joined in to sing the Old Trafford anthem, twirling their red scarfs in joy.

The few Chelsea fans who were present at the event got some stick from left, right and center.

The pre-match party saw Quinton Fortune entertain the fans by free-styling with the ball as DJ Nikhil Chinapppa turned up the volume by a notch.

Speaking to the fans ahead of the match at AIRTEL SOCCER NIGHTS (Delhi) Quinton answered a few questions.

Excerpts :

How did you feel when you made your debut in the Premier League for Manchester United?

I left South Africa when I was 14, it was like a dream come true for a boy who grew up in Cape Town and move to England at a young age. My mum and dad came to watch me play at Old Trafford and it was beyond my wildest dreams playing in front of such a huge crowd.

Which club side did you support as a boy?

Before Manchester United I would say AC Milan (Laughs).

Your all-time favourite player?

It has to be the Brazilian great Pele. The first book I have read was about him, and he was simply extraordinary on the field.

Who according to you is the best MUFC player till date?

I have a huge respect to the history of the club and I would choose George Best as my favourite player. I respect what Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs has done for the club, but Roy Keane has to be the best club player till date – unbelievable captain.

Have you ever received the ‘hair dryer’ treatment from Sir Alex?

(points to his bald scalp)

What keeps Sir Alex going even after completing 25 years at the club?

When I first arrived at the club he was so simple and encouraging…I think it is the drive to succeed that pushes the man to continue at the club.

“The way the team has been playing, they will win tonight. Antonia Valencia has been absolutely brilliant in the right. I predict a Manchester United win and Wayne Rooney“, said Quinton Fortune.
