Radamel Falcao - Last day surprise!

Radamel Falcao García Zárate is a Colombia born football striker who currently plays for Atletico Madrid. Falcao is widely considered to be one of the best strikers in the world.

In July 2011, Falcao was regarded as the fifth best player in Europe during the 2010–11 season through balloting by 53 sportswriters of the UEFA member associations. In 2011-12 season for Atletico Madrid Falcao scored 36 goals in just 50 matches. Nick named El Tigre, he is an out-and-out striker.

Atletico Madrid have put a £50m price tag on striker Radamel Falcao amid reports. As a Chelsea fan, you can expect Falcao to be in the Chelsea’s squad on 1st September. He could be a surprise gift from Roman to Chelsea fans. After his addition, Chelsea’s forward line would be comparable to Manchester City‘s forward line. Although his price tag is high, but he deserves that price. He is a striker with a great eye for goal-scoring and a remarkably high vertical leap.

He would be a suitable choice for Chelsea. After his inclusion, Torres will face a tough competition for starting spot. But unlike Hulk & Cavani he would not mind much sitting on the bench or used as a substitute.

Falcao’s work rate, shooting & heading capabilities are very good with a decent pace. He is a god-gifted talent and a confident player. He would certainly add a new dimension to Chelsea’s attack.

In a long season like the current one, a team can not depend on a single established striker, therefore, he is a need of hour. Everyone knows about Daniel Sturridge, what he has done in the second part of last season. If Torres get injured, no one is their in the squad to play as a striker. New signing Victor Moses is more like a winger than a striker. Lucas Piazon must play in some low profile matches to gain confidence, but he cannot play as a regular established striker. Falcao has very good fear factor among defenders. He is a well-built muscular player suitable for English conditions.

If signed he will certainly play a vital role in recapturing the Premier League & winning the Champions League consecutively. He has recently scored a hat trick and is at the peak of his game.
