The transfer news regarding Manchester United seems to be getting crazier by the day, with the latest report, by Spanish paper Marca claiming the club are in advanced talks to sign star Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao.
Falcao has been linked aplenty to United’s rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, with Real Madrid and PSG also reported to be in the running. However, Marca has decided to splash the news of a move to Manchester United instead on its front page today.

Marca claim United have bid €55 million for the Colombian striker and that the club are even ready to offer a down payment for him.
Manchester United already have an abundance of forwards in their squad, with Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck, Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney all competing for places, which makes Falcao’s arrival all the more unlikely.
Falcao has scored 34 goals so far this season in 41 games for club and country.
