Brazilian midfielder Ramires believes Chelsea can go all the way and ‘win it all’ under Jose Mourinho.
The 26-year-old has been a main component of the Blues’ system since his arrival in 2010.
Chelsea battled to a 2-2 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday thanks to a controversial late penalty from Eden Hazard. Ramires tumbled in the box under a challenge to keep Mourinho’s Premier League home unbeaten record in tact.
The gap between the Blues and Arsenal at the top of the table shortened this weekend following the Gunners’ defeat to Manchester United and Ramires firmly believes this is Chelsea’s year.
Speaking to Brazilian website Samba Foot Ramires said: “The Premier League is one of the toughest competitions in the world, but we have the means to win.
“Our team is very strong and we can win it all this season.
“Winning the Champions League (with Chelsea in 2012) was one of the greatest moments of my career.
“I think the only title that can compete with that is the World Cup in Brazil.”
Ramires added: “Mourinho is a very decent coach. He is doing an excellent job. He manages to motivate his players and offers a chance to everyone.
“I have evolved since his arrival. I hope to continue to help and doing what he expects of me.”
In 11 games this season, Ramires has created 15 chances. Only Eden Hazard has created more (22).
