Ramires: Winner of Chelsea's Player's player of the year and goal of the season awards

Last night at the Chelsea Player of the Year awards, Ramires picked up the Player’s Player of the Year award and also goal of the season for THAT GOAL at the Nou Camp!.

I think we can all sit back and realise exactly how much we are going to miss the little fella out in Munich!. Here’s THAT GOAL again!

Ramires said afterwards:

“It is really special to receive this in my second year here and I hope to win it again.”

Without a shadow of a doubt, Ramires would have pushed Juan Mata all the way for the Player of the Year award, as he has been simply outstanding. The improvement we have seen in his all round game at Chelsea, ever since he came here has been immense.

A versatile midfielder with bundles of energy who has also added big, big goals to his game, he is without doubt, one of the first names on the team sheet!
