Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos confessed that he is the one responsible for the goal scored by Danny Welbeck for Manchester United in the Champions League game. However, he also claims that the referee too made a mistake during the build-up play.
“I’m realistic. I was out-done for the goal, but it wasn’t a corner. Sometimes the referees help you other times they don’t. I’m not going to go into it,” Sergio Ramos said.
Also the defender knows clearly what will be present currently in the return leg at Old Trafford. He said that, “The margin for error is minimal. We have to go out with the same mentality and believe that we can win”.
Ramos also added,”We’re left with a bitter-sweet taste in our mouths, but that’s football. Some days they go your way and others they don’t. We will go to Old Trafford to win, just like we had planned before the first leg. The players feel disappointed with the result, but happy with the performance”, Ramos concluded.
