#9. Mario Mandzukic
Mario Mandzukic joined Atletico Madrid in 2014 as a replacement for the outgoing David Villa. The Croatian striker came to Atletico after a two-year spell with Bayern Munich during which he scored 48 goals in 88 games while also helping them win the treble in 2012/13.
Mandzukic was only at Atletico Madrid for one season and finished that season with 20 goals in 43 games across all competitions. Although his goal return was nearly one goal in every two games, he played his role as the support striker to perfection.
When he joined Atletico, they were runners-up in the Champions League in 2014 and when he left Atletico, he joined Juventus who were runners-up in the Champions League.
Mandzukic has been at Juventus since and has gone on to win seven trophies in three seasons with the club. In addition, he also helped Croatia reach the final of the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
