#4. Diego Forlan
Diego Forlan signed for Atletico Madrid in 2007 after three seasons with Villarreal during which he scored 59 goals in 128 appearances and also shared the European Golden Shoe with Thierry Henry in 2005.
Forlan scored an outstanding 96 goals in 196 games across all competitions for Atletico Madrid. During the 2008/09 season, he scored 32 goals in 33 league games to win the European Golden Shoe for the second time in his career.
During his time with Atletico, Forlan won the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2010. In the same year, he also helped Uruguay reach the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup and won the Golden Ball.
Since leaving Atletico Madrid, Forlan went on to play for Inter Milan, Internacional, Cerezo Osaka, Penarol, Mumbai City and Kitchee.
