N'Golo Kante's entry into the Premier League wasn't very noticeable as Leicester City acquired him from Ligue 2 side Caen in 2015. But he created a big impression from the very first set of matches.
Leicester City's Premier League title win in 2016 may have surprised everybody, but it was possible because of the brilliance of footballers like Kante.
Chelsea quickly decided to move for the Frenchman and signed him in 2016 for around £32 million. The midfielder has gone to become one of the best in his position.
His brilliance was evident in 2018 when he was key in France's successful FIFA World Cup campaign. Kante added a lot of solidity in the middle of the pitch, and France's ability to dominate the midfield was one of their key reasons for success.
But the longest trophies Kante has had to wait for are the Champions League and Club World Cup ones. The Frenchman finally won the coveted European trophy under Thomas Tuchel last season. Chelsea successfully defeated Manchester City in a tightly contested affair in the final and Kante gave a Man of the Match performance.
He managed to add the Club World Cup trophy to his cabinet when Chelsea managed to beat Palmeiras in the final earlier this month.
#1 Thierry Henry

Many iconic players have plied their trades in the Premier League, and it gets no bigger than former French footballer Thierry Henry. He was a superstar for Arsenal and did things many attacking footballers could only dream of. Since his move to the Premier League in 1999 from Juventus, Henry became an important member of Arsenal under then-manager Arsene Wenger.
Be it expert dribbling or precise finishing, Henry could do it all. He was part of the 2003-04 Arsenal side that won the Premier League without losing a single game in the season.
But his quest for a Champions League winner's medal remained unfulfilled until he joined Barcelona in 2007. At Camp Nou, he managed to win the Champions League in 2008-09 and the Club World Cup the following term.
But before his club exploits came FIFA World Cup success in 1998 when he was just getting started in his career. Henry didn't get an outing in the final. But his appearances on the group stage meant he could lift the prestigious trophy at just 20 years of age.
