Jurgen Klopp loves pacey forwards as he tries to exploit opposition defenders time and again. In the search for one such forward, he found Sadio Mane playing for Southampton in the Premier League.

The Senegalese was signed in the summer of 2016 by Klopp and was an instant success with the Reds. With his amazing dribbling skills, quick footwork and superb goal-scoring abilities, Mane has been a star at Liverpool.

He has played 244 games under Klopp and has managed to score 107 goals and register 44 assists. His best time came in the 2018-19 season when he won the Premier League Golden Boot, scoring 22 league goals. Mane's performances have been critical to Liverpool's success and will be for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

#2 Robert Lewandowski (Borussia Dortmund)

Klopp pulled off a masterclass at Borussia Dortmund when he signed Robert Lewandowski in 2010 from Polish club Lech Poznan. Not many knew back then how brutal the Polishman could be in front of goal.

Since then, Lewandowski has been among the goals on a regular basis. His amazing instincts and brilliant positioning combined with his clinical finishing made him a deadly striker. He played 186 matches under Jurgen Klopp, scoring 102 goals and registering 42 assists.

Lewandowski won the Bundesliga twice with Borussia Dortmund under Klopp before deciding to sign for Bayern Munich in 2014. It would have been very disappointing for the German manager then, having lost his star striker on a free to their arch rivals.

#1 Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The transition of Mohamed Salah from being an average player to becoming a world-class footballer has come under Klopp. Ever since joining the Reds in 2017 from AS Roma, he has been an absolute beast in the attack.

With Liverpool's attacking game-style, Salah has benefitted immensely and been a regular figure in the goal-scoring charts. The Egyptian winger has so far played 229 matches under Klopp. He has been devastating for any opposition with his mind-boggling dribbling and goal contributions.

He has so far scored 148 goals and registered 59 assists under Klopp. With Salah being in sensational form this season, it is only right that the German manager receives massive credit for it. The Egyptian has a strong chance of winning the Ballon d'Or this year.
