#3 Raphinha (7.38)

Leeds United winger Raphinha is the third-best forward in the Premier League based on current form and WhoScored ratings. The Brazil international is a livewire on the field, often leading his side's forward charges.

The 24-year-old has scored six goals so far this season in 13 Premier League appearances and provided an assist as well. He has scored three goals in his last five Premier League appearances. Raphinha will want to continue in a similar vein as Leeds United try to climb up the league table.

He hasn't been shy of taking shots at goal. With an average of three shots per game so far, he is third behind Mane and Mohamed Salah on this list. Three of his six league goals have come from inside the box. Raphina also has a free-kick goal under his belt this season.

His dribbling, too, has been top notch. Raphinha has attempted 5.7 dribbles per game, the third-highest in the Premier League so far, 2.5 of which have been successful.

#2 Diogo Jota (7.39)

Diogo Jota, the second of the three Liverpool players on this list, is currently the second-highest rated forward in the Premier League as per WhoScored. The Portugal international has upped his game since joining the Jurgen Klopp-managed side from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020.

Jota has played in 14 Premier League games this season, scoring eight goals and assisting one. He has been in incredible form recently, which has seen him jump to second on this list. The 25-year-old has scored four goals in his last four Premier League appearances.

Jota has taken 2.6 shots per Premier League game so far on average, 1.1 of which are on target. He has missed six big chances though and will want to better his finishing as Liverpool continue their push for the league title.

#1 Mohamed Salah (8.02)

Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah is the best player in the Premier League this season. Some have even gone as far as to label him the world's best footballer on current form. Salah has already scored 20 goals across all competitions, with over half the season still remaining.

The 29-year-old is currently the Premier League's best player as per WhoScored ratings, and thus naturally qualifies as the best forward in the English top flight. He has scored 13 goals in the league already, leading the top goal-scorers chart. Salah's nine assists also put him at the top of the Premier League's assist-making list.

The Egypt international has taken the most shots per match on average in the Premier League with 3.9. He also attempts 3.9 dribbles per match, only second to Allan Saint-Maximin on this list.
