Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are the third-most prolific duo in terms of goal-scoring in Europe's top five leagues. The Egyptian is currently the top Premier League goal-scorer with 11 goals, whereas Mane has netted seven goals. They have also combined to provide 10 assists.
Salah has been claimed by many to be the current best player in the world due to his recent exploits. He has been on fire this season, scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists in the Premier League.
If he does manage to lead Liverpool to another league title, he could become a strong contender for next year's Ballon d'Or.
Mane, on the other hand, has scored seven league goals and provided one assist. He couldn't quite find form last season, but this term he has been one of the Reds' best players.
#2 Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich)
Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry are second on the list of Europe's top goal-scoring duos. They have scored a total of 20 goals together and provided one assist, with Lewandowski doing the bulk of the scoring.
The Polish international is currently the Bundesliga's top goal-scorer with 14 goals in 13 matches. He has been sensational to say the least, scoring in all but three league matches this season. Despite missing out on the 2021 Ballon d'Or, Lewandowski was adjudged the best striker of the year at the gala.
Gnabry, on the other hand, has scored six goals in the league from the wings but has failed to provide any assists.
#1 Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid)
The Real Madrid pair of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior are the most prolific goal-scoring duo in Europe's top five leagues. Together they have scored 20 goals and provided 10 league assists.
Benzema is leading the line with 11 goals scored and seven assists provided. He is currently both the top goal-scorer and assist provider in La Liga. The French international finished fourth in the race for the 2021 Ballon d'Or.
Vinicius, on the other hand, is having a great season. He has scored nine league goals, only behind Benzema in the top La Liga goal-scorers list. On top of that, he has also provided three assists in 14 league matches.
