#3 Harry Maguire
The Manchester United captain, like most of his team-mates, has had a tough season. He hasn't been able to lead his troops from the front, and thus has often faced the blame for the team's performances. Maguire is still the team's third-best passer so far this season.

The England international has played 11 league matches this season, attempting 536 passes. 479 of those passes have been accurate. 233 of his completed passes have been medium, 149 short and 96 long.
As far as defending is concerned, Maguire has been error-prone this season. His two errors have led to a shot, while one of them has even led to a goal. As United enter the post-Solskjaer era, Maguire will have to set things straight and help the side make a comeback.
#2 Victor Lindelof
Victor Lindelof was expected to spend most of his time on the bench with the arrival of Raphael Varane in the summer transfer window. However, the Sweden international has started eight Premier League matches this season and has been the team's second-best passer so far.
While Lindelof being a regular feature in the Manchester United line-up can be put down to Varane's recurring injuries, the former has been silently impressive. He has completed 89.5% of his 446 passes in the league this season. He has completed 130 short passes, 202 medium and 65 long.
Lindelof has also provided two assists in the league and has been one of United's better players in what has been a dismal season so far.
#1 Raphael Varane
Rapahel Varane's €40 million move to Manchester United from Real Madrid this season was expected to solve the Red Devils' defensive woes. But while the Frenchman has been decent so far, United haven't been able to maximize his potential yet.
Varane has so far been the club's best passer this season, completing 92% of his passes. He has started six Premier League matches thus far, with his season getting affected by a groing and then a hamstring injury.
In six matches, the 28-year-old has attempted 339 passes, completing 312 of them. Varane has played 70 accurate short passes, 178 medium passes and 62 long balls. He also has a league assist to his name. The World Cup-winner is expected to return to first-team training on November 30.
