#3 Conor Gallagher (9 goals)
The Premier League has seen some pleasantly surprising performances this season. One of those star performers has been midfielder Conor Gallagher. The 21-year-old midfielder graduated from Chelsea's academy and is on loan for the third consecutive season.
The Englishman is currently playing for Crystal Palace and has done a terrific job so far. His lively and energetic presence in midfield has been a blessing for the Eagles. Gallagher has scored six goals and recorded three assists this season in 16 appearances.
He has contributed a goal after every 155 minutes in the Premier League. Chelsea do have a stunning player in Gallagher and it is very likely that he will become an important part of their squad next season.
#2 Jamie Vardy (10 goals)
Jamie Vardy has been a regular face when it comes to scoring goals in the Premier League from the past few seasons. The English striker has been lethal with his blistering pace and clinical finishing abilities.
Currently, he has scored the second highest number of goals in the Premier League this season by scoring nine in 15 appearances. He also has an assist this season, helping him contribute a goal after every 124 minutes in the league.
It is amazing how Jamie Vardy is doing so well at the age of 34 for Leicester City. The Englishman will be hoping to carry on with the same form and help the Foxes qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
#1 Mason Mount (10 goals)
There are some really talented youngsters in the Premier League right now and Mason Mount is certainly one of them. The Chelsea midfielder has been very impressive with his playmaking abilities.
Under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, Mason Mount can certainly develop into a very fine player. He had been unlucky with injuries earlier in the season but is now back fit and fine. So far, the 22-year old has scored six goals and recorded four assists this season.
He has only been able to start nine matches and has contributed a goal after every 80 minutes in the Premier League. With more than half of the season left, it will be interesting to see how much more Mason Mount contributes for Chelsea.
