#3 Manchester City (54 goals)
Manchester City have continued to run the Premier League ragged this season. Pep Guardiola has ensured that his wide array of attackers remain as efficient as ever and his side are breaking open teams through every play in the book. An effective frontline is key to any title-winning side and the Citizens are on point.
They were the top scorers in the league last season and are only second to Liverpool in the current campaign. Manchester City did not get off to the best of starts this term. However, they have racked up 11 consecutive league wins over the last two to three months.
Raheem Sterling has scored seven times in the league this season while Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez have scored five or more goals. In total, the reigning Premier League champions have struck 54 times in the league so far.
Manchester City are the best defensive side in England this season, and it might not be long before they are the best-attacking team as well.
#2 Liverpool (55 goals)
Liverpool have been somewhat of a juggernaut under Jurgen Klopp this season. Not many expected them to be fighting for the title this term after the transfer business done by Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City. However, the Reds have defied expectations, with their relentless strike force leading the charge.
Mohamed Salah is a phenomenon and is arguably the best winger in world football at the moment. Salah's16 goals in 20 appearances are a big reason behind Liverpool still possessing a narrow chance of pipping Manchester City to the title.
It has also helped that Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane have contributed handsomely. Together, the trio have scored enough to outscore most opponents even when their defence has let their guard down.
The Merseyside club have scored a massive 55 goals so far and could touch the 100 mark if their frontline continues to fire for the rest of the campaign.
#1 Bayern Munich (61 goals)
Bayern Munich have remained unassailable as ever this term and have dominated the Bundesliga yet again. Julian Nagelsmann produced wonders during his tenure at RB Leipzig and has turned the Bavarians into a free-scoring team. Moreover, it helps that Robert Lewandowski is heading the attack.
The Polish superstar has been as lethal as ever and is continuing to break record after record. The 33-year-old striker has scored 23 goals in 19 games, putting him at the top of the goal-scoring charts of the Bundesliga.
The rest of his teammates have also done well, with Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane chipping in during crucial moments. All in all, the 6-time European champions have scored 61 times this term, more than anybody else in Europe's top 5 leagues.
