#3 Neco Williams (Liverpool) — £9000 per week
Neco Williams has been a fringe player at Premier League giants Liverpool. Despite showing promise whenever called upon, the 20-year-old has failed to break into Jurgen Klopp's star-studded first team.
The right-back has made close to 30 appearances across competitions for The Reds since debuting in 2019-20.
For obvious reasons, the versatile Williams is behind Trent Alexander-Arnold in the club's pecking order. However, the 20-year-old is a quality squad option, and could blossom into a world-class player with more game time.
#2 Nuno Tavares (Arsenal) — £27000 per week
Nuno Tavares arrived at Arsenal this summer after a promising stint at Portuguese giants Benfica.
The 20-year-old left-back has already made 11 appearances for the Gunners this season. However, the young Portuguese made a high-profile error in the 4-0 defeat at Liverpool last weekend. He gifted the ball to Diogo Jota following a poor back pass, and the Portuguese forward duly obliged with a well-taken goal.
Tavares remains a good long-term prospect for a rebuilding Arsenal team. He remains second choice behind Kieran Tierney in the left-back role, and the Scotsman's imminent return means he is unlikely to start against Newcastle United this week.
#1 Marcus Bettinelli (Chelsea) — £35000 per week
Marcus Bettinelli arrived at current Premier League leaders Chelsea from Middlesbrough this summer.
He made his Premier League debut for Fulham in 2018-19, playing seven games that season. However, Bettinelli is not expected to add to that tally at Chelsea, as he is behind Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga in the pecking order.
As per his contract, Bettinelli is set to earn £35,000 per week at the club, making him the lowest-paid player in the Chelsea squad.
