#3 Ballon d'Or 2014
After having to wait five years before lifting his second Ballon d'Or award, Cristiano Ronaldo followed up another one in the very next year, capping off a trophy-laden year replete with goals.
His blistering exploits helped Los Blancos win the much-covetedLa Decima' while also winning the league cup, the UEFA Supercup and the Club World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo also won the La Liga Golden Boot for scoring the most league goals that season.
Unlike the previous year, there were no controversies about his win, as Cristiano Ronaldo won with more than twice the number of votes bagged by second-placed Messi.
#2 Ballon d'Or 2016
This one's really special for Cristiano Ronaldo, as he won two of the biggest titles on offer that year - the Champions League and the European Championships -playing a key role in both campaigns.
While Los Blancos struggled in the league, the Portuguese ace shone bright, netting 36 times. But his best contributions came in European games, firing 16 goals to guide his team back to continental glory for the second time in three years.
Later that summer, Cristiano Ronaldo went on to star for the Seleccao at the Euros. Even though he missed over an hour's action in the final due to an injury, there's no denying Ronaldo's blistering form in the run-up to the showpiece clash against France.
However, it isn't Cristiano Ronaldo's most convincing Ballon d'Or triumph.

Once again in a prolific run of form, Cristiano Ronaldo played a key role in his side clinching the La Liga-Champions League double in the 2016-17 season. Los Blancos followed that up by winning the UEFA Supercup, Spanish Supercup, and the Club World Cup.
Ronaldo struggled with injuries that year but still produced blistering performances. Especially in the big games, there was no stopping the talismanic No. 7, who scored in three finals that year, including the Champions League.
