#3 - Andy Robertson
Liverpool did not have a lot to do in defense as FC Porto did not look threatening for the majority of the game. Andy Robertson did have one big moment though as he made a last-gasp tackle to stop a Porto counter.
The Scottish star had a near-flawless game and was easily the best defender on the pitch. He finished the game with a clearance, two interceptions and three chances created.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold likely to miss the next game against Manchester City, Andy Robertson will have a lot to do in attack and defense over the weekend.
#2 - Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has cemented his spot in the Liverpool midfield and is slowly becoming one of their most important players. The Englishman got two assists against Porto as he ran the show for Liverpool in the midfield.
Jurgen Klopp demands energy and dedication from his players on the pitch, and Curtis Jones provides just that. The youngster drove forward at every opportunity and was full of energy throughout the game.
His shot resulted in Mohamed Salah's first goal, and he also provided the assist for Roberto Firmino's goal. Speaking about Jones' performance, Jurgen Klopp said:
"Curtis played a good game. He had some problems a little bit with the stomach before the game; they told me I need to keep an eye on him but I told him after the game whatever it is, keep it because it was really a good game. He played a really good game, he was everywhere, he was involved in everything. Set up the first goal with a surprising finish, goalie cannot save it."
#1 - Mohamed Salah impresses for Liverpool once again
Another game, another masterclass from Mohamed Salah, who has been in top form this season.
The Egyptian was a constant thorn in the side of the Porto defenders and managed to grab a brace.
Salah had just two shots in the game, but hit the back of the net on both occasions. He ended the game with an 88% pass success rate, and linked up well with the rest of the attackers.
