#3 Gianluigi Donnarumma

PSG custodian Gianluigi Donnarumma expected a tough game on Wednesday night, and that was exactly what he got. There was nothing much he could do about both goals conceded. Christian Nkunku's header came from close range, while Dominik Szoboszlai's penalty went into the bottom corner.

The Italian was key in PSG not going 2-0 down in the 11th minute, though, as he saved Andre Silva's penalty. Donnarumma was active throughout the game, and had to be on his toes to foil several Leipzig attacks.

He parried away a couple of balls into the box, and saved a few to help PSG keep their lead in the second half. However, all his hard work went in vain, as Presnel Kimpembe conceded a late penalty, which allowed Leipzig to force a share of the spoils.

#2 Kylian Mbappe

After missing the win on Friday, Kylian Mbappe was back in PSG's starting XI. The Frenchman was a threat to Leipzig's defence throughout the game, and there was very little they could do about him.

Mohamed Simakan was the only reason Mbappe did not get on the scoresheet, as he was able to match the PSG star's pace on the counter. The former AS Monaco starlet went through on goal a few times, but Simakan was able to block Mbappe.

Mbappe unselfishly set up Georginio Wijnaldum for PSG's first of the night, and pushed others to match his intensity in attack. He got little to no help on the counters, though.

#1 Georginio Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum was unhappy with Mauricio Pochettino's rotation policy, and wanted to start games consistently. He was open about his dissatisfaction at PSG, and there were rumours of him leaving in January.

However, two goals in a crucial game against Leipzig have turned things around for the Dutch captain. His goals helped the Bundesliga side helped PSG take the lead at the Red Bull Arena. But they were not enough to get the visitors all three points because of their sloppy defending.

Pochettino will now be under more pressure to play Wijnaldum regularly, as PSG need goals from midfield. The reliance on Mbappe, Messi, Neymar and Angel Di Maria doesn't always work in big games, as they are often marked out by the opposition.

With Wijnaldum getting into the box regularly, PSG's Argentine manager now has another attacking option in his arsenal.
