#3 Idrissa Gueye
Herrera's midfield partner, Idrissa Gueye, has been a revelation in midfield for PSG this season. The Senegalese international is enjoying a new lease of life in his more attacking role at the club during this campaign.
Often seen as a destroyer in midfield, Gueye has been deployed as more of a box-to-box midfielder this season. He has seen his goal contributions massively increase as well. The midfielder has already scored more goals (4) across all competitions this season than the last two seasons combined.
Gueye is a vital cog in Pochettino's midfield and is essential in balancing out a highly attacking PSG lineup. Given his performances so far this season, the midfielder is set to have a stellar 2021-22 campaign.
#2 Achraf Hakimi
PSG's big-money summer signing Achraf Hakimi has hit the ground running since his €60 million move from Inter Milan earlier this summer. The Moroccan has been unstoppable down the right-flank with his pace and attacking prowess.
Hakimi has ripped apart opposition defenses across all competitions and has even added goals to his game this season. The full-back already has three goals and two assists in the league. He has been one of PSG's main attacking threats this campaign.
Despite the lack of cohesion in PSG's star-studded front three, Hakimi has been a constant threat down the right flank with his pace and directness. The full-back has already established himself as one of the best in the world at what he does. One can only expect the Moroccan to keep getting better this season, which is a daunting prospect for any team that comes up against PSG.
#1 Kylian Mbappe
Despite not yet kicking into gear this season, Kylian Mbappe still leads PSG in terms of both goals and assists during this campaign. The Frenchman has shown that he is a massive goal-threat even when he is not playing at his highest level.
Mbappe has proved time and time again that he is a generational talent with the ability to singlehandedly affect the outcome of a game. The Frenchman has bagged four goals and five assists across all competitions this season. He is the favourite to win the Ligue 1 Golden Boot for the third year in a row.
Mbappe is currently stealing the spotlight from the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi at PSG. He will want to deliver the Champions League title in what could be his final season at the club.
