#4 Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk to Manchester United)
Manchester United signed Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk for a fee of around £52 million. Manchester United acted quickly in signing him as their city rivals also interested. He first came to the limelight in 2015 Copa America, replacing the injured Luis Gustavo, who assisted his team into the quarter-finals.
Fred caught everyone's eyes in the recent Champions League, his team Shakhtar Donetsk had a difficult group with Man City and Napoli, and he was instrumental in defeating Man City, which was their (Man City's) first defeat of the season.
Fred had good dribbling ability and his work rate was impressive; the midfielder in the recent Champions League averaged an imposing 3.3 take-ons per a game(90 mins.), at an amazing success rate of 95%.
The reason he made it into the top five list is because of his presence the United midfield will be fearsome. United last season struggled to make Pogba adapt to the system and the reason for that was that he needed freedom: he needed someone who could run box-to-box and who could take care of the defensive clearings behind him, and Pogba has shown how good a player he can be in the World Cup where Kante had supported him by doing all that.

Fred is a machine and he can compliment Pogba even if he can attack the opposition and has an intelligent passing ability to find spaces in between the defenders.
