#3 Jamie Vardy – 118 goals
Jamie Vardy’s journey from the National League to the Premier League has been incredible.
The former England international’s goal-scoring prowess during the 2015-16 season will forever be etched in history as his 24 goals in 36 games inspired Leicester City to an unlikely Premier League title triumph.
Vardy has scored 15 goals or more in five of the last six Premier League seasons, and won the Golden Boot in 2020 for his 23 goals that season.
The 34-year old has adapted his game under Brendan Rodgers and is no longer just a forward with pace to burn. His cleverness in and around the penalty box makes him one of the hardest players to mark.
Vardy is showing no signs of slowing down and will hope to score more goals next season after helping Leicester City to their first ever FA Cup title last season.
#2 Harry Kane – 166 goals
Harry Kane is currently seventh on the list of all-time goal-scorers in the Premier League and is expected to climb a lot higher up the list.
Still only 27, Kane still has a lot of football left in him and is expected to chase Alan Shearer’s incredible record of 260 Premier League goals.
Kane has adapted his game over the last couple of seasons at Tottenham and considering his game isn’t about pace, he could play well into his 30s.
Since 2014, Harry Kane has not scored fewer than 15 goals in a single Premier League season, and has won the Golden Boot award as many as three times.
Kane has replicated his form on the international stage as well, having scored the most number of goals during the 2018 World Cup.
One of the most natural goal-scorers in world football right now, Kane is second on our list with 166 goals in just 245 Premier League games.
#1 Sergio Aguero – 184 goals
Sergio Aguero left Manchester City earlier this summer after an incredible spell at the Etihad. The Argentine has scored 184 goals in just 275 games for Manchester City and has the best minutes-per-goal ratio on the list.
It’s a bit of a surprise that Aguero won the Premier League golden boot award just once during his stint in the Premier League. However, his game was about consistency.
Aguero has hit the 20-goal mark six times in ten seasons and is perhaps the greatest modern-day striker to grace the Premier League.
Towards the end of his spell at Manchester City, Aguero was blighted by injuries and struggled to shake them off. Had he been fit, he could have breached the 200-goal mark in the Premier League.
