#2 – David Moyes to Manchester United
Status: Confirmed
Who is he replacing: Sir Alexander Chapman “Alex” Ferguson. Need I say more?
Why David Moyes: Managing Manchester United is not an opportunity that you can get everyday. Nobody has even come close to that for the past 26 years!
Sir Alex Ferguson leaves behind a legacy which will be remembered forever. David Moyes has a herculean task at his hands. He has never won a trophy in his life and his predecessor won 38 major titles. The Old Trafford faithful are used to winning and they would expect the same from Moyes.
That being said, David Moyes, according to many, is the best man for this job. People like Jose Mourinho were very vocal in their interest for the Manchester United hot seat but United went with Moyes. That is probably because he comes from the same cloth as Sir Alex Ferguson. He has built a team and not assembled one at Everton. He, despite having very little funds, managed to keep Everton in the top half of the Premier League table for 12 years.
What Moyes can’t assure is instant success. Will the Manchester United fans stay behind him in difficult times is the question that needs to be answered.

#1 – Jose Mourinho to Chelsea
Status: Confirmed
Who is he replacing: Rafael Benitez, despite starting on a low note, ended up qualifying for the Champions League with ease and winning the Europa League.
Why Mourinho: Who else than Mourinho? Chelsea faithful have prayed for this day ever since Jose left the club in 2007 and their prayers have been finally answered.
The self-proclaimed “Special One” is one of the greatest and most successful managers in the history of the game and his return to England and Chelsea has made everyone happy. The core of the team that he built is still there in Chelsea. With a great bunch of talented, young players like Hazard, Oscar and Mata already in the side, combined with Mourinho’s expertise and further money to spend, it would be hard to stop Chelsea.
Since Mourinho left the club, Chelsea have won the league once, the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Europa League. But, many of us feel that Chelsea have not been the same without Mourinho. Great things would be expected from Mourinho and if he fails, will Roman Abramovich show his wrath once again?
